General Description
Provides Investment Advisory Services to Popular Securities’ Financial Advisors and their clients. Works closely with Financial Analysts and PSAG Manager in the preparation of portfolio analysis, presentations and strategies’ research to develop recommendations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client Facing Role – Provides Investment Consulting Support to Popular Securities Financial Advisors and assists in the discussion of the analysis and recommendations for our clients.
In charge of portfolio analysis process and final review of presentations.
Must have knowledge of Investment Consulting Process and Strategies.
Manages some client relationships along with the Financial Advisors responsible.
Analyses client financial information and develops recommendations related to the Advisory Business.
Understands investment products and its use in an Investment Strategy.
Develops Investment proposals and presentations.
Develops analysis tools for accounts, products and Investment Strategies.
Conducts special projects that helps Business Development.
Conducts Due Diligence on strategies and products.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or related field.
Experience
3 years of work experience related to the financial services industry.
Licenses
FINRA Series 7 and Series 65 or 66 (or commitment to complete in first year).
Other Qualifications
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent in performing research and reporting skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong teamwork attitude.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams).
