Construction Project Manager
Location: Spokane Valley, WA

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and public works projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role is responsible for project planning, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working closely with ownership, field crews, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from contract award through final closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and self‑performed work
Review and manage subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
Monitor job costs, production rates, and project profitability
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, plans, specifications, and safety standards
Coordinate inspections, testing, and agency communication
Oversee project documentation including certified payrolls and closeout packages
Communicate regularly with ownership regarding project status, risks, and opportunities
Qualifications
3+ years of construction project management experience
Strong understanding of construction means and methods
Experience managing subcontractors and project schedules
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Preferred
Commercial or public works construction experience
Familiarity with prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements
Experience with project management or accounting software (e.g., Procore, Foundation)
Background in concrete, excavation, utilities, or general contracting
