We are seeking a professional and dedicated Retail Store Floor Manager to lead daily operations and maintain the high standards of our retail environment. As a primary key holder, you will be responsible for the secure opening and closing of the store while ensuring a seamless experience for staff and customers. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can balance administrative human resources duties with active sales floor management. Given our community focus and commitment to being Shomer Shabbat, a deep understanding of the Orthodox Jewish community is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary key holder, responsible for opening and closing procedures and store security.
Lead and manage the sales floor team, including creating and overseeing daily and weekly staff schedules.
Handle all human resources functions, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management.
Oversee visual merchandising to ensure the store is well‑organized, attractive, and aligned with brand standards.
Manage inventory levels, identifying reorder needs and coordinating with vendors to maintain stock.
Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere that respects the values of the local community.
Resolve customer service issues with professionalism and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a retail environment is required.
Proven leadership or management experience in a professional setting.
Strong understanding of the Orthodox Jewish community and Shomer Shabbat observances.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Proficient in staff scheduling and basic human resources tasks.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work the specified full‑time schedule, including Sundays and Fridays.
