Road Mechanic
This Road mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty lines may have large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

Responsibilities
Work on a variety of makes and models of equipment in challenging remote locations.
Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management.
Work with an incredible team of people in a safety‑focused environment.
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL/license may be required in some locations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency with mechanic tools of the trade.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
Physical Demands
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.
