Job Description Summary
Road Mechanic – Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment to minimize downtime. Work in remote locations and with an emphasis on safety.
Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations.
Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management.
Collaborate with a safety‑focused team.
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment such as Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Trade school or equivalent training desired.
3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty line equipment strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required in some locations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency with hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting.
Ability to use mechanic tools of trade when necessary.
Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
Physical Demands
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required by the job.
