
Reconciliation Operations Analyst - Contract

We've partnered with a Financial Services Firm in Boston, MA who is looking for an R&A operatoins finance candidate to join their team.
Responsibilities
Ensure daily production and control standards are met with a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established deadlines and requirements.
Coordinate and manage daily workflow, intraday prioritization, and end?of?day reconciliation, ensuring all items are properly reviewed, balanced, and resolved.
Monitor, investigate, and assist in the resolution of breaks, exceptions, and complex inquiries, partnering with internal departments to drive timely closure and minimize risk exposure.
Prepare, review, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production and control reports to internal and external stakeholders, escalating items that fall outside of standard.
Identify, document, and trend errors or recurring issues, recommending process, system, or data improvements to reduce exposure and improve efficiency.
Communicate professionally with internal clients and management through meetings, phone, and email to ensure aged items are actively worked through resolution.
Participate in system enhancements, reconciliation product testing, and process improvements to increase productivity and accuracy.
Document workflows and procedures, provide training to junior staff, and offer day?to?day support and backup coverage as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field.
Experience in a financial services, custody, asset management, or reconciliation environment strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, and exception management.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend process and risk mitigation improvements.
Proficiency in reporting tools and databases; familiarity with Microsoft Access or similar systems a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline?driven environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team?oriented, control?focused environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range for this role is disclosed in accordance with local law. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
