Our client seeks a Service Desk professional to support a live studio environment in Stamford while providing remote assistance to a New York City headquarters. The role requires first‑level technical support across macOS devices, conference rooms, AV, and basic network issues. The position includes onsite studio coverage, event support, and ticket management with escalation when appropriate.
Rate:
$28.00 to $33.00/hr, W2 basis.
Responsibilities
Provide first‑level technical support to studio staff, both onsite and remote.
Manage and respond to support tickets for Stamford and New York City, including password resets, software installs, updates, and basic remote troubleshooting.
Onboard new hires with device setup, account provisioning, and IT orientation.
Assist with conference room and AV setup and troubleshooting.
Support town halls and onsite events as needed.
Troubleshoot and maintain printers and peripherals.
Assist with asset management, including setup, tracking, and end‑of‑life processes.
Perform basic network troubleshooting such as Wi‑Fi connectivity and device access.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members when needed.
Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Experience Requirements
Experience supporting Apple hardware and macOS.
Basic knowledge of Windows environments (preferred).
Familiarity with ticketing systems (preferred).
Interest in AV systems and live production support.
Ability to support Wednesday evening game coverage when needed.
