Customer Service Clerk

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm.
Job Description
Responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with customers, assisting customers and R & L employees in tracking and monitoring freight movement. Performs daily freight tracing with customers, assists other terminals with freight-related issues, and performs related duties as assigned. Utilizes customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and listened to, resolves issues, and promotes company goals.
Responsibilities
Maintain positive customer relationships.
Track and monitor freight movement.
Perform daily freight tracing with customers.
Assist other terminals with freight-related issues.
Resolve customer issues and promote company objectives.
Requirements
Strong communication/telephone skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Ability to deal with potentially stressful situations.
General office and customer service experience.
Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products.
Typing speed of 30+ WPM.
Preferred
2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
Freight logistics experience.
