Payroll Specialist - Key Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for approximately 280 employees
Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours, deductions, taxes, and bonuses
Handle off-cycle payrolls, garnishments, adjustments, and reimbursements
Support payroll tax filings, W-2 preparation, and year-end processes
Maintain payroll records, accruals, and ensure compliance with regulations
Assist with onboarding and provide support on select HR-related activities
Partner with the Controller on reporting and process improvements
Payroll Specialist - Qualifications
5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience
Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, compliance, and multi-state payroll
Experience with garnishments and ability to work independently
Strong Excel skills; Paylocity or Deltek experience is a plus
