Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Fleet Manager in recruiting efforts by interviewing and hiring for specific positions.
Train & coach Detailers, while overseeing the onboarding of all Detailers in relation to company policy and procedure, as well as operational, safety functions and efficiencies.
Create and distribute employee schedules based on business needs and availability.
Supervise detailing crew and sub‑contractors (This will include off hour site visits).
Provide "in the moment" feedback to employees, while assisting Fleet Manager with performance evaluations, disciplinary action, and terminations of employees.
Manage labor, equipment, and supply usage on assigned projects while ensuring all safety protocols are established and followed for workplace safety.
Oversee day‑to‑day site operations while identifying more efficient ways to perform work.
Drive vehicles to designated areas within the facility.
Perform the duties of a Detailer as needed:
Cleaning and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior.
Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Polish and buff vehicle exteriors to restore shine and remove scratches.
Wash and dry vehicles using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
Qualifications
1 year of related Supervisory experience, preferably in car wash or fleet focused establishment.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and cleaning techniques.
Prior experience in vehicle detailing is preferred.
Ability to demonstrate leadership through personal behavior.
Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to make decisions guided by company policies, procedures and precedence. Refers non‑standard problems to Fleet Manager.
Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes loud work environment.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures, with the ability to communicate effectively.
Education/Required Licensure
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
