The main purpose of the Controlled Substance Administrator position is to review, pick and pack controlled substances sales orders as well as maintain records and inventory in accordance with DEA regulations.

Opportunity
Responsibilities
Prepare Orders for Controlled Substances

Perform due diligence to authenticate controlled substance orders.

Conduct any phone calls or investigations as needed.

Pick and Pack orders per shipping procedures.

Ensure that all necessary paperwork for each customer is up to date.

Ensure that DEA license and state license on file are current.

Inventory Management

Perform cycle counts and other required inventory.

Maintain an accurate inventory and investigate discrepancies.

Oversee inventory and receipt of supply chain transfers.

Prepare inventory reports as needed for DEA submission.

Other tasks

Oversee and maintain accurate records and filing in accordance with DEA regulations.

Maintain ARCOS in accordance with DEA regulations.

Assist in DEA audits when necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year’s experience in quality control.

Knowledge of DEA is considered an asset.

High school diploma required.

Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills.

Detail oriented with a strong customer focus.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/Vintara is an asset.
