Venteon is currently seeking a
Maintenance Manager
to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in San Antonio, TX
Requirements of the Maintenance Manager
10+ years’ experience in automotive manufacturing maintenance required
5+ years’ experience as a maintenance manager preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems, PLC programming, robotic, and vision systems required
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics required
Certifications and Education
Associate’s Degree, or equivalent years of experience is required
Bachelor Science in Engineering preferred

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager
Develop and implement health and safety regulations to support safety culture for maintenance and the manufacturing facility.
Support Environmental, Health, and Safety team (EHS) in the implementation, audit, Hazard Analysis and compliance of OSHA, and other safety and environmental regulations.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for the facility and equipment such as injection molding equipment, injection molding tools, manual and automated assembly equipment, and automated robotics paint booths to eliminate down time.
Ensure that all equipment meets safety and quality standards.
Ensure that equipment produces quality parts by ensuring high reliability and proper function of Poke Yokes.
Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of all company equipment, prepare maintenance schedules.
Carry out inspections of all equipment to identify and resolve issues.
Support troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems, PLC control to ensure functionality.
Plan and oversee all repairs of equipment in the plant.
Identify spare parts requirements. Monitor inventory and place orders when necessary.
Keep maintenance and environmental logs as required and report daily activities.
Supervise, train, and develop maintenance personnel.
Develop personnel performance targets, goals, and deliverables. Conduct performance reviews and mentoring.
Manage, supervise, and coordinate all work performed by outside vendors and contractors. Ensure contractor work meets quality and safety standards
Develop maintenance budgets and monitor expenses to meet budget and cost reductions targets.
