Warehouse Operations Coordinator

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for the efficient execution of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, and facility organization. This role supports the Inventory Specialist by ensuring accurate product handling and inventory movement, while also identifying opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency. This position offers a growth path.
Warehouse Operations

Unload, receive, count, and properly store incoming freight
Pick, pack, and ship sales orders accurately and efficiently
Assist customers at the front counter as needed
Perform kitting tasks such as blending medications and assembling kits
Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive and regulated products
Inventory Support (not ownership)

Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities as directed
Ensure proper stock rotation based on expiration dates and usage
Communicate inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Specialist
Maintain organization and accuracy of product locations
Shipping & Logistics

Assist with loading freight and coordinating outgoing shipments
Enter daily shipping data and maintain shipping systems (UPS & Spee-Dee)
Process Execution & Improvement

Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse workflows
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements
Take ownership of assigned warehouse areas to ensure consistency, accuracy and cleanliness
Compliance & Standards

Ensure visitors adhere to biosecurity guidelines
Maintain housekeeping and safety standards throughout the warehouse
Leadership Development (Growth Path)

Assist in training new team members on warehouse processes
Help coordinate daily priorities and workflow as needed
Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds regularly
Capability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations
Education Requirements

GED or High School Diploma required
Associate degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
Technical Skills

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to learn and operate warehouse management systems and inventory software
Experience with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, Spee-Dee) preferred
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
