
Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support end-to-end supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, and planning. This role will play a key part in building and scaling a resilient, cost-effective, and high-performing supply chain to support rapid company growth. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, hands‑on execution experience, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams.
Responsibilities
Manage demand forecasting and supply planning to ensure material availability
Monitor inventory levels and implement optimization strategies
Track key performance indicators (OTIF, lead times, inventory turns) and drive improvements
Own purchase order lifecycle, including creation, tracking, and on‑time delivery
Maintain inventory reorder processes and identify process improvements
Coordinate with vendors to meet production schedules and demand requirements
Partner with Accounts Payable to support invoice reconciliation and 3‑way match processes
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers aligned with quality, cost, and delivery goals
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers
Monitor market trends and commodity indices to inform sourcing strategies
Manage supplier performance and support cost reduction initiatives
Partner with engineering, production, and operations teams on product and supply chain changes
Support implementation of supply chain systems (ERP/MRP) and data accuracy
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, procurement, and logistics
Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision‑making
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or operations roles
Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or clean technology environments preferred
Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management – Oracle preferred
Proven ability in supplier negotiation and contract management
Experience with global sourcing and supply chain risk management
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
