What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED, and meet Tier 1 and Tier 2 requirements within 120 days of employment (Tier 1: Federal Programs – Title 1 Paraprofessionals).
Meet one of the following:
Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (no less than 48 hours of college coursework).
Earned an Associate’s degree (or higher).
Passed the ACT WorkKeys Assessment scoring at a Bronze level or higher.
Special education paraprofessional additional requirements:
OSDE Special Education Paraprofessional training through Pepper, career technology centers, or other state‑approved training providers.
Cardiovascular Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, training, maintaining current certification.
Universal Precautions/Bloodborne Pathogens yearly training.
Six (6) hours of professional development each year.
