
Transportation Engineering Technician II (61033622) *RE-ADVERTISEMENT*

Responsibilities
Perform independent inspection in all fields and produce required reports relating to those inspections in a timely manner.
Maintain inspection and testing equipment.
Complete daily timesheets and monthly mileage reports.
Assist Project Managers in the generation of monthly estimates in Site Manager and closeout activities, such as final quantities and As‑Built Drawings.
Perform construction verification surveys and operate survey equipment during these surveys.
Be responsible for pre‑construction layout activities and data collection.
Ensure the collection of and/or collect samples and certifications relating to construction inspection activities.
Assist in training other inspectors in all areas of inspection and survey verification.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma and one (1) year of related experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
Physical Demands
Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Walking for extended periods and treading rough terrain.
Working in close proximity to motoring traffic and natural environmental hazards.
May require occasional exposure to noise.
May require working outside normal work schedules and weekends.
