Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 7:45-4:15
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our staff at the Humansville Family Medical Center in Humansville, MO! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities,and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the Department:
The Humansville Family Medical Centerseespatients of all ages for a variety of illnesses, injuries and ailments. The medical staff also provides complete family care, well-baby exams, well-woman exams, Medicare wellness visits, obstetrical care, immunizations, behavioral health and same-day appointments. The clinic provides certified medical exams and drug screens for DOT.
A typical day will include:
Followingproper procedures to performblood draws, collect specimens, and completelab tests
Accurately labelingspecimens and storing themaccording to policies
Cleaningequipment and work areas, and stockingsupplies
May act as clinic receptionist,greeting patients, notifying appropriate team members of patients' arrivals, answering phones, and filing
Assistingwith radiology and medical assistingduties as needed if appropriate training has been provided.
Job Requirements:
Education: High schooldiploma preferred
Experience: One year of phlebotomy experience preferred; medical assistant and/or radiology experience desired
Skills: Patient care
Physical: Standing for the majority of the work day
The position is:
Full-time, Mon-Fri, 7:45 am-4:15 pm
