Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Certified Medication Technician to provide exceptional care for residents in Colonial Springs Long Term Care Center located in Buffalo, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long‑Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility.

Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a 134‑bed long‑term care, skilled nursing center. It includes a 34‑bed memory care unit, as well as a 16‑bed high‑functioning memory care unit. These units meet the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of Dementia.
Typical Responsibilities
A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents.
Prepares, administers, and documents medications by all routes except those by parenteral routes.
Utilizes reference materials associated with medication administration to identify side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of medications in use in the facility.
Identifies medication errors, completes event reports, and reports to charge nurse for follow‑up action.
Job Requirements
Education: HS diploma
Experience: Must currently be Certified Nurse Assistant AND Certified/Registered Medication Technician.
Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills
Licensure/Certification: CNA and CMT/RMT
Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consisting of walking.
Shift Options
Full Time, Part Time and PRN (Per Requested Need).
Nights, Evenings, Days or Rotating.
