Role Description
This is a full‑time High School Science Teacher position based on‑site in Knoxville, TN. The teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing science curriculum and lesson plans, teaching subjects such as physics and environmental science, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The role includes assessing student progress, supporting academic growth, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain high educational standards in accordance with the school’s mission.
Qualifications
Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
Strong subject‑matter expertise in physics and environmental science
Effective communication skills to engage with students and collaborate with peers
Ability to inspire and motivate high school students in a Christian educational environment
Bachelor’s degree in education, science, or a related field; teaching certification preferred
Previous teaching experience at the high school level is a plus
