Sign-on Bonus: $2,500.00
Overview of Position - LPN
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care consistent with licensure under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Duties include data collection, medication administration, and patient teaching regarding illness, medication, and maximizing states of wellness. The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL, offers behavioral health services to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting.
Qualifications
Current licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Florida
Current Basic Life Support certification is required
One (1) year’s experience within behavioral health or psychiatric hospital settings is required.
Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Background in managing complex patient cases involving acute pain management, or psychiatric emergencies is advantageous.
