
Welder I - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Welders are expected to perform under the direction of the area supervisor, perform MIG welding, aluminum welding, TIG welding, electric or robotic welding in the fabrication of parts, to be used in the assembly of product lines to create a high-quality finished product. Components may be standardized or customized as to design and function.
Overtime Hours - As Required.
Pay Rate: $23.35/hours
Shift Hours - 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities
Comply with the company/site safety rules.
Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
Provide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.
Assist with robotic welder.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or Certification.
Internal written and physical weld test.
An understanding of welding fundamentals.
Basic welding experience and/or training.
Basic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment.
Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.
