Job Summary
Our client is seeking a qualified Electrician to install and test electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The role includes conduit and wireway installation per NEC standards, reading blueprints, working with MCCs and VFDs, and maintaining a safe and organized worksite. A technical degree or equivalent experience and solid NEC knowledge are required.
Shifts available:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Job Description
Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment
Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays to adhere to the NEC code and customer specifications
Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuits
Read blueprints and perform conduit threading
Maintain and ensure tools are in good working condition
Train and mentor employees on your shift
Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe environment
Prevent workplace injuries by following safety protocols and attending safety meetings
Skills Required
Vocational/technical degree in electricity or equivalent experience
Knowledge of the Electric Code (NEC)
Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives
Education/Training/Certifications
High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
Must be able to pass a background check
Master or Journeyman Electrician License
