Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring that academic programs, institution, and students comply with relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies. Oversees degree auditing, verifies academic credentials, manages records, and ensures that degrees and certifications meet legal and institutional requirements. Maintains accurate documentation of audits and regulatory reporting and performs administrative duties to support day‑to‑day operations of degree compliance processes.

Responsibilities

Complete all phases of degree auditing, including changes and exceptions

Collaborate with campus community to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Board of Regents and Kennesaw State University policies and procedures

Manage student workflow process

Provide assistance to campus community in interpretation and research

Participate in Commencement ceremonies each semester

Assist with testing updates in appropriate data management systems such as Degree Works and NOLIJ and approve curriculum updates as needed; maintain study abroad applications and processes

Advise students and staff on compliance issues related to degree requirements and academic record

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Required Experience:

Three (3) years of relevant higher education, advising, degree auditing, administrative, technical, office, clerical, and/or similar experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with University System of Georgia policies; Advanced degree in a related field; Experience in University student information systems

Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary range for this role is $45,900–$53,000 annually. Offers are based on relevant experience. Ability to analyze and interpret institutional policies

Facilitate and foster effective working relationships

Handle multiple tasks or projects, meeting assigned deadlines

In‑depth knowledge of degree program structures and USG general education (core) curriculum

Proven success working with academic departments and curriculum issues

Strong understanding of academic policies and proficiency for degree audit processes

Experience and proficiency in degree auditing

Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem‑solving, independent judgment, organization, communication, time‑management, project management and presentation skills

High aptitude to comprehend and grasp information quickly

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (Microsoft Office, Degree Works, NOLIJ, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills

Strong customer service skills and phone and e‑mail etiquette
