As an
Inventory Planner
with the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) you will support the WPB Fulfillment team in our New Stanton, PA facility. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely and efficient procurement of mechanical and breaker parts that support the safety and reliability of nuclear plants worldwide. You will report to the Site Operations and Inventory Control Manager. This is a mobile position that initially will be expected onsite 5 days a week. After the training phase, you will have flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days per week and have the ability to choose an alternate work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Track & Forecast : Monitor requisitions as they move through the process and regularly update SAP and other applications.
Prioritize Smartly : Evaluate demand‑driven requisitions, prioritize various reporting and customer needs, and communicate efficiently with multiple groups.
Support Production : Process purchase requisitions timely and support internal customers throughout the production cycle.
Collaborate Cross‑Functionally : Work with storeroom personnel on subcontracting orders, material movements, and inventory discrepancies.
Coordinate Resources : Partner with Production Planning to procure urgent materials needed for production, coordinating with Engineering as required.
Optimize Inventory : Help manage stocking levels, lot sizes, and make recommendations when necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or related field.
0‑2 years of planning experience.
Equivalent combination of experience and education considered.
SAP experience (production, requisitioning, material master data) is a plus.
Microsoft Excel experience a plus (V‑lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $54,000.00 to $67,500.00 per year.
