Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in St. Paul, MN. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring a high standard of patient care. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, preparing patients for exams, performing routine laboratory tests, administering medications as directed, and maintaining accurate medical records. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will assist in coordinating patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in recording patient histories, measuring vital signs, and assisting with medical examinations.

Knowledge of routine laboratory tasks and the ability to administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.

Strong skills in maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide compassionate and professional patient care.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Current Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; experience in primary or community-based care is a plus.
