Shipping and Receiving position available at a manufacturing facility in Litchfield. Responsibilities include managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory, receipts, and shipments, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Shipping and Receiving Details:
Temp-to-Hire position
$ 18.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 01:30pm)
1st shift 5:00am-1:30pm (If overtime is scheduled will work until 3:30p.)
Receive, verify, and document incoming and outgoing shipments against POs, invoices, packing slips, and BOLs
Perform inventory counts, audits, counting/weighing of parts, and heat-lot documentation as required
Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) when certified and follow wheel chock procedures
Accurately prepare, package, label, stage, and ship products to meet on-time delivery and damage-free transport
Complete and validate shipping paperwork, signatures, dates, photos, and required freight forms
Perform product prep as required (tapping, cleaning, galvanizing cleanup) prior to shipping
Store received materials in proper locations and manage recycled pallets for return to suppliers
Inspect work for accuracy; report defects or issues to supervision.
Shipping and Receiving Qualifications:
HS Diploma/GED
2+ years of experience shipping fabricated products.
Experience working with transportation carriers.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow written or electronic instructions.
Strong math skills for accurate counting and verification (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
Experience operatingor ability to become certified to operatematerial handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
Experience using packaging equipment (banding, palletizing, shrink wrap, etc.).
Valid driver's license required.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Ability to work outside frequently
