Biller I
Medical Biller responsible for accurate billing, coding, claim submission, reimbursement follow-up, and maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Review/re-code medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS); Submit insurance claims; Follow up on unpaid/denied claims; Communicate with insurers, patients, providers; Maintain billing records and HIPAA compliance; Stay current on coding rules; Assist with patient billing inquiries and payment plans.
Experience as a Medical Biller; Knowledge of billing processes, coding standards, insurance guidelines; Proficiency with billing software; Strong attention to detail; Excellent organizational and communication skills; Familiarity with HIPAA; Billing/coding certification preferred.
Primarily seated in front desk/reception; Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs; Frequent interaction with patients, staff, and providers.
