Survey Project Administrator
The Survey Project Administrator supports project teams by providing administrative, coordination, and documentation support across a designated market sector. This role is essential to keeping projects organized, compliant, and progressing on schedule by assisting Project Managers and Directors with proposals, project documentation, research, and reporting. Candidates with experience in title, surveying, or land development environments may be a strong fit.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and proposal support
to Project Managers and Directors, including preparing correspondence, proposals, permits, reports, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, and work orders; proofreading and editing for accuracy, formatting, grammar, and consistency; and maintaining templates and document standards.
Conduct research and information gathering
by reviewing historical and current project resources such as zoning information, title and survey documents, aerial photographs, maps, plats, municipal records, and other public or private data sources; acquire and manage project‑related research materials as needed.
Support project coordination and control
by tracking project status, schedules, budgets, and team progress; compiling and summarizing reports and trends; organizing and maintaining project files and job folders; and assisting with adjustments to documentation, schedules, or deliverables as directed.
Ensure quality, compliance, and professionalism
by following firm standards and quality guidelines; maintaining accurate and complete project records; preparing inactive project files for archival storage; and interacting professionally with clients, vendors, public agencies, and internal teams.
Support team efficiency and performance objectives
by monitoring workload and time efficiency, meeting assigned productivity goals, and maintaining professional knowledge through training, industry resources, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Formal training or prior experience in administrative, office, or project support roles.
Experience supporting professional services, engineering, surveying, planning, or consulting teams preferred.
Title experience (title research, documentation, or review) is a plus .
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required, including preparing proposals, spreadsheets, and reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data handling.
Compensation
Pay Range: $26 - $34 per hour.
