Incineration Technician - Rotary Kiln (Facility Technician- Train 2)
We Build with Passion – Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration unit is seeking an Incineration Technician- Rotary Kiln (Facility Technician- Train 2) to perform hands‑on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and off‑load vehicle service with forklift operations. Operate incinerator along with clamshell device. Wage $26.50 per hour DOE, paid weekly. 4–12 hour rotating shifts per week (6a‑6p / 6p‑6a).

Responsibilities

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times

Performs basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing

Operates a forklift when necessary, responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating

Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements; able to use scanning application for dumping and pumping

Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures

Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes

Ensures, understands and has ownership for area‑specific permit‑required compliance standards

Meets or exceeds production goals

Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment

Understands Clean Compliance Standard

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Forklift operation

Ability to work in team environment

DOT Training

Proficiency in Windows‑based applications

Climb on and off forklifts

Ability to perform multiple tasks

Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground

Climb up and down vertical ladders

Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force

20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected – depth perception is critical

10 push‑ups, deep knee squats and sit‑ups (fitness test)

Good hand/eye coordination

Mechanically inclined

Valid Driver’s License required

Punctuality and attendance required

Respirator fit test upon hire – clean‑shaven face required (mustache okay)

Background check, drug screen and physical required

Updated resume required
