Deputy General Manager Finance and Accounts
As a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong foundation in financial and accounting principles, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Treasury, and Account Management. Your key responsibilities include:

Accounts Receivable: accurate recording of customer invoices and receipts; verification of daily transactions related to customer receipts to ensure timely and correct application of payments; TDS certificate issuance for non‑salary payments to comply with tax regulations; provision of documentation to customers.

Accounts Payable: ensuring vendor invoices are recorded and processed accurately; TDS payments and return resolution; verification of vendor invoices and payments to ensure timely disbursements and accurate financial reporting; salary processing if vendors include payroll services; handling payroll‑related vendor payments.

Treasury: monitoring daily fund positions to manage liquidity and ensure sufficient funds for operational needs; bank payments and coordination with bankers; management of bank guarantees and letter of credit (LC) documentation to support business commitments and mitigate financial risks.

Accounting function: JVs, journal vouchers, GL reconciliations; cost control to maintain accurate books and manage expenses; daily transaction verification to ensure data integrity.

Support for AR/AP accounting to ensure seamless integration and reconciliation of receivables and payables.

Reporting: monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting; preparation of financial reports, annexures, and schedules for internal and external reporting requirements.

Audit support: financial and tax audits, including preparation of documentation and responses to auditor queries.

Assisting plant and finance controllers with daily operations and monthly closing activities; preparation and submission of internal reports, schedules, and reconciliations; generation of ad‑hoc reports and data sets for internal reviews and audits.

Resource management: developing and mentoring a high‑performing team; providing training and development opportunities; fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement; steering local and global finance projects.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong foundation in financial and accounting principles.

15 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting, including at least 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA in a multinational engineering/manufacturing setup.

Proven experience of 5 years managing finance and accounts teams.

Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is an added advantage.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated experience in leading and inspiring diverse teams.
