Industrial Assembler

This position requires the assembling of many machine parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead man or Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform the General Assembly and Wiring portion of the Press Brake Assembly process.

Train other employees how to perform the Sub Assembly and Ship Prep portion of the Press Brake Assembly.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area within the specified time frame.

Perform adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and/or engineering documentation.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

May be required to climb using a safety harness or ladder up to 16' feet tall.

May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.

Support company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives, ISO policies, and good manufacturing practices.

Must be able to work unsupervised at times.

Must adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE.

Employees are to speak only English during an emergency and while performing job duties where there is potential for an emergency. The rule does not apply to casual conversations between employees when they are not performing a job duty.

Non-field-related positions require in-office work 4-5 days a week at the assigned facility location.

KNOWLEDGE

Forklift and Overhead Crane operation is highly preferred.

Use the metric system.

Good communication and listening skills.

Use hand and power tools.

Previous heavy equipment/machinery assembly experience.

Familiarity with metric measurements.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic mathematical computations.

Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Familiarity with metric measurements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted daily.

Walk and stand on cement flooring throughout a 10‑hour shift.

Use fine motor skills to tighten bolts and wire.

Constant bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, grasping, twisting at the waist, reaching above the head, and kneeling.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Climate controlled year round.

Low noise decibel levels.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM with occasional work on Friday.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00/HR.
