Overview
We're seeking compassionate, tech‑savvy individuals to serve as the first point of contact for patients across Emergency, Outpatient/Clinic, and Inpatient settings. The primary goal in all areas is to deliver an exceptional, welcoming patient experience.

Emergency Department Responsibilities

Serve as the initial greeter in a 24/7/365 ER environment.

Work rotating 12‑hour shifts (up to 40 hours/week). Example rotation: Week A – Mon, Tue, half‑day Fri, Sat, Sun; Week B – Wed, Thu, half‑day Fri.

Train across multiple registration areas:

Front Triage Desk: Check in walk‑in patients.

Ambulance Bay: Process patients arriving by ambulance or helicopter.

ER Floor: Complete bedside registration with portable devices.

Verify and update demographics, insurance, IDs, and consents in the EMR.

Support self‑pay workflows and Medicare documentation.

Outpatient / Clinic Responsibilities

Greet patients and locate them quickly in the EMR.

Verify and update demographics and insurance with high accuracy.

Support checkout functions: follow‑up scheduling and charge entry.

Answer basic questions regarding lab, pharmacy, or radiology services.

Main Admitting / Inpatient Responsibilities

Provide welcoming, efficient check‑in for various hospital services (lab, radiology, surgery, inpatient admissions).

Verify and update patient demographics and insurance.

Travel to inpatient units as needed for bedside registration.

Assist with general patient inquiries related to hospital services.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of work experience – 1+ year in customer service role.

Strong empathy and compassion.

Passion for helping others.

Strong technology and data‑entry skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $16.00 – $16.00/hr.
