
Human Resources Assistant - Entry Level Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking preferred)

The Position:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting and collaborating with other members of the Human Resources team to ensure excellence in the delivery of value-added HR services to the organization. This role contributes to the effectiveness of the Human Resources department by providing coordination support across the entire spectrum of HR functions, including talent management, total rewards, employee relations, employee experience, talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides a variety of HR administrative support to employees.
Handles routine questions from employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, programs, and processes.
Assist in the resolution of issues and concerns.
Assists with administrative tasks related to recruiting, compensation and benefit administration, learning and development, and leave administration.
Assist with the coordination of interviews and other recruiting tasks.
Assists with new hire orientations and employee onboarding.
Aids internal and external candidates requiring assistance to complete job applications and other process requirements.
Conducts confidential employee exit interviews.
Supports the coordination and execution of employee engagement events.
Prepares materials and communications for presentation or distribution to employees and/or supervisors.
Performs routine transactions and updates employee information in the HR information system.
Maintains personnel files while protecting confidential employee information.
Interacts with outside vendors and other external parties.
Executes a variety of other tasks and assignments as needed.
Functional Requirements
Routinely able to:
Carry up to 10 pounds a minimal distance of 100 feet
Walk multiple distances of up to 300 feet
Reach forward, less than 90° shoulder flexion
Sit for prolonged periods of time
Climb stairs of varying heights
Bend at trunk
Crouch
Reach overhead, over 90° shoulder flexion
