Job Description
GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Under the supervision of the Principal, plan, organize, and implement appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Teach students using a curriculum that includes assessment and review processes.
Develop, write, and implement lesson plans that align with district and state education standards, while tracking and maintaining records of student progress.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and staff to support student success.
Adhere to and enforce school rules, policies, and procedures.
Attend faculty meetings and participate in committees as needed.
Complete additional school duties and assignments as required.
Perform other school duties and assignments as appointed.
Qualifications
Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with appropriate endorsement.
10 month contract (200 days)

Salary:
$51,178 to $74,374 Per Year
