The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant
1:1 and small group support as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
Supporting Secondary aged pupils with SEMH needs and behaviour challenges
Using de-escalation strategies as an SEMH Teaching Assistant
Building strong relationships with pupils with SEMH
Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
Collaborating with teachers and pastoral teams
Who We Are Looking For – SEMH Teaching Assistant
Experience as an SEMH Teaching Assistant or with SEMH needs
Strong behaviour management and resilience
Calm, consistent and confident SEMH Teaching Assistant
Background in PRUs, SEN schools or mentoring is desirable
