A friendly, inclusive primary school in Enfield is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.
The school is a two-form entry primary with a dedicated SEN provision, experienced SENCO and strong behaviour systems. Staff work closely together and there is a clear focus on inclusion and pupil progress.
The school is easily accessible via local bus routes and has nearby parking.
The Role
Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting with learning and classroom activities
Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
Working closely with teaching staff and SENCO
Requirements
Experience with SEND, care or similar (professional or personal)
Patient, calm and consistent approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Enhanced DBS required.
