Primary Purpose of Position
Reporting primarily to the Director of First Year and Transitional Program (FYTP) and secondary to the Director of Charlotte CORE, the primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the administrative tasks relating to these programs and processes within the Office of Undergraduate Education. Position is responsible for supporting two Directors and three Assistant Directors in a variety of business functions, including budgeting, human resource processing for student employees, new hire authorization processing, salary/timesheet tracking, purchasing, payments, 49erMart orders, travel arrangements, events, and other administrative support. This position is required to make independent decisions on office procedures, handle departmental situations, and create ad hoc reports and flow processes. This position will also process faculty EPAFs for summer workshops.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Work Responsibilities

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Experience in a post-secondary institutional setting,
Experience as an administrative professional working with a department to assist with budgeting, purchasing, personnel, events, and other administrative support functions.
Experience working with faculty, students, and experience with HR and Banner is a plus.
