Position Summary
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers at a reputable law firm. This role requires a polished, professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a welcoming environment while providing exceptional administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced professional setting.
Primary Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining client confidentiality
Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks, including:
Filing, copying, scanning, and data entry
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
Support attorneys and staff with additional administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
Prior receptionist or customer service experience preferred (law firm experience a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, phone systems, etc.)
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
