Location & Position
US Rod in Nappanee, Indiana is sourcing for a Quality Technician Inspector.

Shift Times
The morning shift position works 5AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday. The afternoon shift position works 3PM- 1:30AM Monday through Friday.

Specific Responsibilities

Perform material and product tests using quality lab test equipment and formal testing methods.

Perform in‑process audits and internal audits to verify standard operating procedures are being followed.

Maintain quality records and samples per written procedures.

Work with production supervisors within a team environment in meeting customer quality requirements and solve quality issues.

Communicate effectively with all manufacturing personnel, next shift personnel and others in a professional manner.

Assist Quality Manager as directed.

Prepare records, reports and enter data to provide documentation and to support Quality department.

Education and Training

High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Experience working in an API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

Possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Able to follow instructions.
