Basic Employee Responsibilities
Every Q2 ALS employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.
Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.
Being responsible – on time for work, and take breaks during designated times.
Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.
Position Specific Responsibilities
(Outline the major job duties & responsibilities for this position, beginning with most important)
Specific position responsibilities include the following:
Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner.
Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.
Responsible to perform the equipment and facility preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Inform Planning and Production for the scheduled PM.
Support manufacturing team for shorter unplanned downtime.
Perform work involving skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues, such as faulty wiring, blown fuses, malfunctioning components and automation failures.
Install, modify and upgrade electrical systems in accordance with local, state and national electrical codes.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist with programming adjustments when needed.
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
Maintain safe and clean work environment.
Wear the proper safety equipment and following lockout/tagout procedures when required.
Required Minimum Qualifications

Specific required minimum qualifications include the following:
General building and grounds maintenance experience
Experience operating small equipment
Mechanically inclined
Valid Class 5 and clean Driver’s Abstract
Physical Demands
(i.e. heavy lifting, long periods on feet, travel, etc…)
Specific physical demands may include the following:
Lifting up to 50lbs
Working in all conditions outdoors and working in manufacturing shop environment where there may be loud noises and temperature variations
Ability to operate small equipment
Standing and walking for long periods
Pushing, pulling, bending, some twisting in the movement of goods and material
Awkward positions
