St. Petersburg Catholic High School is seeking a part‑time Science Teacher (Environmental Science and Earth/Space Science) for the 2026‑2027 school year.
We are looking for a Science Teacher familiar with Understanding by Design, project‑based learning, and integration of classroom technology, including using student iPads to facilitate instruction and assessment. Qualified candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work with students at various levels of proficiency.
Required Qualifications
A four‑year degree in a science‑related field from an accredited college or university; a master’s degree preferred.
Florida Department of Education Certification in the applicable subject area or a statement of eligibility.
Preferred previous teaching experience at the high school level, including AP experience.
Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening and Safe Environment training.
