The historic Washington Hilton is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to assist their events team. This 1107-room property is located within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with the White House and National Mall less than two miles away.
Shift Pattern:
Variable – candidates should have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Rate:
Hourly rate and gratuity (varies per event).

Responsibilities
As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific duties include:
Set banquet tables to meet function specifications
Deliver and serve food and beverages, including meals, condiments, and accompaniments
Maintain menu knowledge
Remove Chinese, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables after service and deliver to stewarding area
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout service
Respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner
Assist fellow team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
Assist with side work such as cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware
