Overview
Custodian - 2nd Shift (Full-time w/ benefits)
Location: Central Bucks High School South
Hours: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
Compensation: $20.05 p/hr
Available: 2025/2026 School Year
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
Collect and discard trash; maintain floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning.
Thoroughly clean and disinfect lavatory areas; clean glass surfaces and mirrors.
Participate in group cleaning projects; maintain furniture and fixtures.
Assist with furniture arrangement; respond to inclement weather by removing snow and applying salt.
Perform security checks; provide assistance for outdoor sporting events as needed.
Other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to properly use commercial cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, stripping machines, floor scrubbers).
Ability to perform snow removal (shoveling and snow blower) as needed.
Ability to follow standard procedures for diluting cleaning chemicals and applying floor finishes.
Additional Information
Employment is provisional for 90 days as required by ACT 168 of 2014.
