Primary Position Objective
To plan, implement, and lead a theme-based Spanish immersion summer camp program for preschool and elementary aged students and ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants.
Assignment
7/20 - 7/24 (Around the World Week), Mon-Fri, 9am - 12pm
7/27 - 7/31 (The Great Outdoors Week), Mon-Fri, 9am - 12pm
Wages
$20.60 per hour. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities, games, songs and lessons consistent with class goals.
Manage classroom activities: supervise and provide guidance for participants and student assistants.
Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, or a related field.
Demonstrated successful experience in a Spanish immersion program preferred.
Evidence of successful experience working with elementary aged students.
Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.
Proven record of punctuality and responsibility.
