Job Description
Third Future Schools is a high‑achieving and growing network of charter schools. Its Wichita Falls, TX, Hirschi middle school is looking for a Teacher Apprentice.
Teacher Apprentices work with distinguished teachers to grow their craft and become classroom teachers. They teach students in collaboration with distinguished teachers, familiarizing themselves with instructional materials and lesson plans. Once the school leadership team and the distinguished teacher determine the Apprentice is ready to provide direct instruction without support, the Apprentice is elevated to the teacher position and receives a commensurate salary increase.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver instruction in collaboration with distinguished teachers.
Review lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and instructional materials to teach effectively.
Perform minimal classroom duties, limited to four days per month.
Assist Learning Coaches by making copies and grading papers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Job Type: Full‑time
Salary: $62,000 to $64,000 per year.
