Soltage Summer 2026 Renewable Energy Internship (Part-Time)
Soltage is a leader in the development, financing, and operation of distributed utility‑scale solar, storage and solar + storage assets for commercial, industrial, municipal, and utility customers across the United States. Soltage has developed more than 125 solar energy projects, with more than 600 MW total distributed generating capacity in operation or under construction and invested over $1.5 billion to date into the US clean energy sector.
About the Role
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join us this summer to support our initiatives and gain hands‑on experience in the renewable energy industry. As an intern at Soltage, you will work directly alongside industry professionals and contribute to meaningful project work. This is an excellent opportunity for students to build practical skills and gain a strong understanding of the renewable energy industry.
The internship is part‑time (approximately 20 hours per week over 8 weeks) based out of our Jersey City, New Jersey headquarters. The program runs from June 2nd through July 24th.
Position Responsibilities
Assist with research, analysis, and support for renewable energy projects.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Collaborate with team members across departments to support ongoing initiatives.
Communicate findings and updates, both verbally and in writing.
Support additional day‑to‑day tasks as needed.
Experience and Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.
Basic knowledge of and demonstrated interest in renewable energy.
Strong relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical and research‑oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work on‑site in Jersey City, New Jersey.
