Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. You will play a key role in supporting the dentist during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from start to finish.
Schedule (days/hours)
M-TH 7-4 & 8-5
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
Provide patients with post-operative care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
Current Dental Assistant certification (as required by Florida law)
X-ray certification required
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual is a plus
Compensation
$24-$25/hr
