The Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Mental Health Clinician provides rehabilitation services and support to children and families to prevent hospitalizations and crisis episodes while enhancing community functioning. The role involves answering crisis calls, responding on‑call, and providing stabilization, linkage services, and family consultation.

Responsibilities
Answer crisis calls and respond to mental health crises within 90 minutes in McHenry County.
Provide stabilization, linkage services, and family consultation.
Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
Provide case management, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
Coordinate services from a variety of community resources.
Document all services within appropriate time lines.
Maintain communication with all staff (admissions, case‑process, discharge plans).
Serve on the clinical team and participate in team meetings.
Exercise confidentiality according to code of conduct and law.
Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate positive agency representation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field; Master’s preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience in mental health treatment.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule:
PRN (pre‑scheduled on‑call shifts, occasionally on weekends and overnights).
Base Pay:
Bachelor’s: $27.37/hr
Master’s: $30.54/hr
Second shift: +$1/hr
Third shift: +$2/hr
Incentives:
On‑call hours, holiday pay.
$200 per quarter for >30 pre‑hospitalization screens.
$1,000 retention bonus paid every 6 months (prorated on first payment).
Additional Pay Enhancements:
Professional Certification (CADC, CRSS, CPS): +$0.72/hr.
First‑level Clinical Licensure (LPC, LSW, LMSW): +$0.87/hr.
Second‑level Clinical Licensure (LCPC, LCSW, LMHC): starting +$2.16/hr.
