We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a rural Texas hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics, ensuring high-quality respiratory care across multiple age groups.
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including assessment and treatment.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of interventions and outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in respiratory care practices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP or STABLE) certifications are mandatory.
Experience in providing care to a varied patient demographic, from neonatal to geriatric populations.
State licensure as a respiratory therapist is required.
Schedule
This position offers a day shift schedule from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., allowing for a balanced work‑life routine.
