What's required?
Here are the requirements for this Controller role:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to manage large volumes of financial data accurately
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
High level of discretion with confidential information
General tech-savviness and adaptability to new systems
Preferred qualifications include:
CPA certification
Manufacturing experience
Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience
Exposure to audits
ERP system experience (Epicor is a plus)

Your day as a Controller
This is a full-time, hybrid position, with a combination of remote work flexibility and commute to De Pere, WI as business needs require.
As the Controller, you begin your day reviewing financial data across multiple entities, guiding your team through close activities, and ensuring records remain accurate and compliant; you partner closely with operations and leadership to analyze variances, manage inventory accounting, WIP, fixed assets, and job costing, while also strengthening internal controls and serving as the primary liaison for external audits; throughout the day, you support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, continually improving systems and processes through automation and efficiency initiatives, all while playing a critical role in supporting the company's continued growth.
